Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 March 2025. We may update this policy from time to time; material changes will be communicated.

Introduction

Atomix Labs ("we", "us") operates Atomix, a design system platform. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. We are committed to transparency and to handling your information in line with applicable law, including the GDPR and CCPA.

Data we collect

We collect: (1) Account data — email, name, profile picture when you sign in; (2) Usage data — design systems, tokens, scans, and how you use the product (including page views, interactions, and scan usage such as number of scans and images per scan); (3) Technical data — IP address (or a hashed form of it for anonymous scan tracking), device and browser information, for security, operation, and analytics. We use a third-party analytics provider (Statsig) to help us understand product usage; usage and technical data may be shared with them as described in their privacy policy. When you use scan or extract features, we record that usage (e.g. source and image count) linked to a hashed identifier for product improvement; this server-side processing does not depend on cookie consent.

How we use it

We use your data to deliver and improve the service, maintain security, run analytics (e.g. retention, usage patterns, scan volume by source), and (where you have consented) to send you relevant marketing. We do not sell your personal data.

Lawful basis (GDPR)

We process data on the basis of: Contract — to provide the service you requested; Consent — where you have opted in (e.g. non-essential cookies, marketing); Legitimate interest — for security, analytics, and product improvement where balanced with your rights.

Data retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active and for a limited period after closure for legal and operational reasons. Usage data may be retained in aggregated or anonymised form. You may request deletion of your personal data; we will respond in line with applicable law.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object, and to data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time. If you are in the EU/EEA you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. CCPA users may have additional rights (e.g. know, delete, opt-out of sale — we do not sell personal information). To exercise your rights, contact us at heyatomix@gmail.com.

When you request account deletion, we delete all your personal data, including your design systems. We do not process deletion while you have an active payment or billing dispute; once the matter is resolved, we will process your deletion request.

International transfers

If we transfer data outside the EU/EEA, we do so using appropriate safeguards (e.g. adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses) as required by law.

Updates

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date will be revised, and we will communicate material changes where required by law.
